All of the tributes were ready to start at the first annual Bikini Bottom Hunger Games. Many scared, many poised to win. Some had vengance and some wanted to win as a sign of strength against the dictators who selected them every year. They did not find it fair, and nor did the officials. The suppressing bias of the situation greatly infuriated them, and gave them more poise to win. They knew it was not about winning, but showing that one and many could stand up to an overbearing government, which's tyrannical rule should not be tolerated.

In the end, they all know that they will die in the end, but could make a stand while they were alive. Their destiny was just a crude game made up for the fun of the government and the suffering and desolation the families of the tributes have to go through.

The tributes themselves are in no different scenario.
